What are the components of RJ45 connector?
1. Main Body: It's made of plastic, which can isolate, protect and fix RJ45 connector terminals. The commonly used materials are: PBT, PA66, PA46, LCP and other fireproof materials.
2. Shielding shell: Shielding shell plays a role in protecting and beautifying the product. Brass nickel plating is often used as shielding shell of RJ45 connector.
3. Terminal: The terminal plays the role of conducting and connecting in the whole circuit, and generates and maintains the pressure between the contact surface and the crystal head. Generally, phosphor bronze is used as the main material of the terminal.
4. Terminal Coating: The terminal coating can prevent the oxidation of the terminal surface and strengthen the conduction of the contact surface of the terminal. Generally, the contact surface is plated with gold and the welding surface is plated with tin.
